The screen

The screen is the only part that speaks; everything else works in silence. It stacks millions of points of light, a layer that feels your finger, and a hard glass on top. The touch layer conducts electricity while staying transparent, thanks to a rare metal, indium. On some phones, the screen is even what vibrates to make sound. The light and sound paths are waiting their turn. So is the indium thread: it leads to zinc mines.
