What the site shows

The phone taken apart here belongs to no brand. Its parts, its materials and the steps of their making are those of a common smartphone, as the industry describes them publicly. The journeys are therefore true in general, not for the device in your hand.

Where the numbers come from

Every number shown carries a chip. It opens the exact source, its publisher and the date it was retrieved. A number without a source is not published: it is removed from the text. The concept simulations are qualitative: sound orders of magnitude, not exact numerical models.

What the site does not know

Real supply chains are secret, with rare exceptions. When a place is named, it is because the concentration of the industry there is documented, not because anyone knows where your part came from.
